December 29th, 2022
on this dreadful morning by d.s.l.

In the morning when the sun gazes her light onto my eyes

In the morning when you left me all by my side

There’s no one for me this day I rise

No one to smile and not even to cry

With me you stay, yet, you’re so far away

With me you stay, yet, you’ve already gone away

My love, my love, whom I adore

I love you more than love just once

I love you more than just six months

My love, my love, whom I “ignored”

If only did you waited just more

If only did you said just more

Today I write again

My tongue can no longer freely speak words to you

For now our love has slipped away

All for the things I did not say
