Which love that moves past life, by d.s.l.

Set in my hand your leave

Come back to me only to depart me be

Wrapping your chains to memories

You took my heart and now we’re apart

Haunt the shadows of doors you left unclosed

“My mind is set, I’ve found my happiness”

Play me like dreams in tears that you won’t clean

Giving yourself to those that couldn’t come close

Our hearts were paired but never held

Like keys that fit but cannot turn

You leave our love in attic urns

Of memories of us that you did burn

Across the plains you spread your pain

When you can just call me my name

You mourn your hope on other ones

Left me with threads of life undone

On days that we will pass away

Our love to hell I still shall say

“Oh God, I cannot bide for I might cry”

Without my bride left in July
